I can’t believe I’m saying this but… We’re homeschoolers!
From rules and regulations. From standing in line. From asking permission to visit the bathroom or have a drink. And most importantly from restrictive time constraints. We have the time to investigate an interesting subject in depth. We have the time to stop and watch a caterpillar eat its way across a leaf. And we have the time to close our books and visit a museum – just because.
Key Takeaways:
- I absolutely love the time aspect. This seems counter-intuitive because the kids are home with me all day, but I feel more productive in a short amount of time.
- I love that we are getting WAY more quality time together. The whole experience has given me a mental shift and my focus on family has heightened tremendously.
- Now we’re done with school early, but I still feel responsible for her learning 24/7. I want to seize every moment for her to be able to absorb quality information.
“I appreciate seeing exactly where my daughter is struggling, and watching her improve. I adore her “ah ha” moments and witnessing the lightbulb go off in her head.”
