Breastfeeding is hard enough, moms need support not scorn
New moms can face a lot of judgement from a lot of people. It is more important that new moms are supported and given the understanding that is so often forgotten. Breastfeeding is something that is natural for a baby and mother to do and for many it can also be a source of shame because so many people look down on women doing it publicly. Mothers need to be supported when it comes to breastfeeding so that it can be less stressful and more of a beautiful act between mother and child.
Key Takeaways:

- Breastfeeding is not dirty, and breastfeeding moms are not, in any significant number, taking some kind of political stand
- of all the things to rally against, a mother feeding a hungry baby is such a non-issue
“We, as a nation, have lost our minds about breastfeeding.”
