Giving the “Cry It Out” Method a Real Chance
The “Cry It Out” method is an idea for parenting, that allows for toddlers and babies to cry out and fuss during controlled periods of time. The idea behind it allows for the infants to scream out and let out all their discomfort. But should you chance it?
And a new study suggests it might actually have a positive reaction to the children. It seems that the method doesn’t cause any problems down the line, and will actually help children sleep later on in the day.
The research even indicates that the method can relieve stress for not just the children, but the parents benefit from it too.
The training isn’t advised for infants under six months, but if you have a baby between six and sixteen months, then you should consider this form of child rearing, and maybe try to put your children on a specific schedule, not just for sleep but for screaming too.
