Morning sickness is one of the little things about pregnancy that you just have to adjust to. But if there’s one thing science is good for, it’s figuring out problems like that. And it helps that this medicine can help out mothers in need.
Jonathan Schaffir, MD, is an associate professor in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He recently spoke with Fit Pregnancy about morning sickness and how to best combat it.

There are many anti-nausea remedies that are used in pregnancy. The most extensively studied medication that has been proven safe is a combination of vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) and doxylamine, which is available over the counter as a sleep aid.”
