The Difference Between Toddler Behavior and Toddler Aggression
When you have a toddler, and then another baby, it can sometimes be difficult for the elder to get used to it. There’s an adjustment period that they have to go through, it’s only natural. But what’s the difference between adjusting toddler behavior, and actual toddler aggression.
A concerned mother is dealing with this concern, trying to raise her older daughter and infant son. She states that, “She has become defiant and occasionally aggressive. She will outright defy me when I ask her to do/not do something… And sometimes she hits her baby brother. Not hard enough to hurt him, he can sleep through it. This happens when I tell her something she doesn’t want to hear,… it doesn’t seem like she is trying to hurt him… she seems like she is just overwhelmed by her emotions. She loves her brother and dotes on him usually, and always apologizes, but this behavior is so out of character for her.”
But what does that mean? Amalah with Alpha Mom has the answers on that situation, and how to react if you’re dealing with a similar problem. Check it out here.
