Family photographs are one of those things we all used to dread, but then we had children of our own. And now, they’re some of the most important things in the world. You know I’m right. But how do you find the perfect photographer to get just the perfect shot?

Whitney Barthel with babycenter Blog sat down with professional photographer, and he shared his experiences. To him, the most common mistake is families not realizing that the cost is worth the results. He says, “What should happen is for people to ask themselves what kind of style they are looking for and what kind of photography best fits in their home. The problem we run into is people just pick whoever is the cheapest, whether they are a good fit or not. Capturing your family’s milestones shouldn’t be looked at as a commodity.”
