Dining Out (Can be Difficult)
Do you remember going out for dinner? And I don’t mean chain resturuants or places with kids menus? Like, an actual dinner. But that’s one of the realities of being having children – you lose time, money, and availability when you have a family to take care of. But a new service might give us a real chance to go out again.
Nibble + Squeak is a new dining service that allows families to find Michelin-starred restaurants that offer parents an opportunity to eat out, with the entire family. Company founder Melissa Elders spoke with Maggie Downs at babycenter about the program, and said, “It’s a win-win for restaurants and restaurant-goers alike: the restaurant shows off its kid-friendly side, and our diners get a no-stress treat for themselves, plus a relaxed introduction to the table and perhaps new cuisines for babies… Think of it like a giant playdate, with smoked mackerel and fine china.”
