CNN Anchor Almost Becomes a News Story
CNN anchor Poppy Harlow gave us all a serious fright the other day, and on live TV no less.
Six months pregnant with her first child, she’s still appearing on the news network and informing us all about the world around us. But during a segment discussing a recent poll about terrorism, Ms. Harlow started slurring her speech, and had to take a moment while the network cut to commercials. But in reality, she actually collapsed!
Luckily (and happily), she recovered in no time, and was back on the air within five minutes. She then said, “For all of you on Twitter who are asking if I’m OK, thank you so much. I got a little hot and I passed out for a moment. I am fine. We’re going to take a quick break. We’ll be right back.”
The thirty three year old anchor, who is expecting her daughter spring of next year, is doing just fine. And her daughter is fine too, which is just as great to hear.
Best wishes to them both, and continued good health!
