Some teachers are amazing, inspirational, and among the best people in the world. This teacher is not one of those kind of teachers. This teacher is just the worst.

Lakeshia Taylor has accused the teacher for her nine year old son Christian of abusing her son – namely hitting him with a yardstick and then slamming his finger in the door so hard that he needed nine stitches.

If you’re horrified by that statement, wait until you hear the part where this sort of thing is considered the norm. See, the school district that Christian (who also has ADHD) happens to fall into also happens to be one that has a corporal punishment policy on the books, allowing teachers the freedom to physically “punish” children who act out.

Even if Christian was acting out enough to warrant a hit with a ruler (which, considering that he’s nine years old and active, should be easily explained), that doesn’t excuse giving a NINE YEAR OLD an injury that required multiple stitches as a way of “disciplining” him.
