Nyesha Terry, Chicago resident and mother to 5 year old Lloyd Terry, decided to visit her son at school one day. Her son is afflicted with epilepsy, which can sometimes lead to a child being non-verbal and unable to control saliva. In the past, Lloyd was provided a bib of some kind. But his new school doesn’t do that.

Instead, Nyesha came to visit her son and found him wearing a garbage bag. Nyesha took a photo of the sight, which “broke her heart”, because of course it did, a teacher put her son in a trash bag. The school principal promised to amend the situation and never let anything similar happen again, which is why it was so surprising when she returned to the school the next day to discover him in another garbage bag, because that teacher is apparently useless.

Nyesha has every right to be angry, and has contacted CPS in regards to the discovery, and taken him to another school, where hopefully none of the teachers are just plain ignorant.
