Where you could once grab a drink or to read a nice book, your priorities have shifted when you have a child with you. Hell, it starts even before you leave for the airport. When you’re PACKING now, you have to manage how much space you’re using up because, well, you need to prepare for anything life throws at you guys. TRAVEL ACCESSORIES become much more important, and you have to limit the amount of things you bring for yourself. LOGISTICS become paramount to a not-terrible experience, and give you the time or speed to do what you need to do. LODGING can no longer be a simple “get a room and be fine” when you have kids who fall asleep hours before you do, so you have to be specific with your choices. MEALS and ACTIVITIES have to be simple enough for the children as well, so whatever bar or adventure you had planned is going to have to wait.
