What to Expect From Your Second Trimester
No matter how many pregnancy books or blogs you read, it’s still going to be an exciting, unknown and often scary time. You might have been stricken with morning sickness for nearly all of the first few weeks of your pregnancy, or you might already be stressed about how swollen your feet will be as your due date draws closer. But what changes can you expect your body, and your baby, to go through during your second trimester? First, some good news: if you experienced morning sickness during your first trimester, you’ll likely be out of the woods with nausea once you reach your second trimester! You’ll also start to feel your baby grow inside you; you’ll feel your little one start to move around, or even have some startling but totally harmless hiccups. How cute! Of course, it’s not all sunshine and roses, and you may start to experience some unusual breathlessness as you complete even the most minor of tasks, like walking into your house from the car, but it’s totally normal nothing to be alarmed by.
