We know the law is on our side when it comes to breastfeeding, but that hasn’t stopped an overwhelming amount ignorance on the subject in the general population. It’s so nice to see stories like this one where restaurant managers do the right thing and standing up for breastfeeding mothers!

Two mothers were breastfeeding in the Dairy Queen when a young couple complained about the scene, saying they couldn’t eat while watching. The manager left to find a solution, and what he said when he came back was beautiful.

Instead of apologizing for the upset or comping their meal, the manager handed them a paper bag and told them there weren’t any babies currently eating in the bathroom so they were free to eat there, or they could take their food and leave.

This Dairy Queen manager deserves an award for standing up for nursing mothers everywhere!
