How to Have a Great Spring Staycation
Spring is a great time for a vacation, and for some families a spring break vacation is on the radar every year. However, when you’ve got young children just traveling to the grocery store is a stressful ordeal, let alone hopping a plane to some far off destination! However, there’s plenty of fun to be had at home with a little planning and these staycation tips!
A staycation doesn’t mean you have to stay in the house. Bundle up baby and take everyone on a little family field trip to somewhere local. Check out a park you haven’t been to or even take in a fun day at the mall. Libraries are also great places for kids and you could check out a couple fun bedtime stories.
Theme days are a fun way to enjoy a staycation. Pick a fun theme for each day of the week and have fun making paper pirate costumes or pretending to be ponies. Do whatever most interests your kids. Dress baby up too for a great photo opportunity!
