The battle for public breastfeeding rights has been raging for a long time, and while it’s still frowned upon in many locations, the Pope has stepped up and stated that when babies are hungry they should be fed and mothers shouldn’t worry about it.

This isn’t the first time he’s mentioned it. Over a year ago it came up as he passed a mother comforting her hungry child who was afraid to breast feed in public, and he felt it was wrong to let the child go without food for this reason.
