Santa Baby: My Nursing Mama Wishlist

If I were a nursing mama this holiday season (or maybe a mother-in-law shopping for her daughter-in-law about to have a baby, or a cousin searching for that special something for your cousin about to have a wee one, etc), I know for sure I’d have these things on my wishlist.  And while I may not be in the market for breastfeeding gear, being a woman in my thirties means pretty much at any given moment, someone I know most certainly is in said market. So whether you’re dreamily nursing the nights away until Christmas, or hunting down the perfect gift to put under the tree for the mama-to-be or nursing mom in your life, I hope some of my faves here strike a chord and make it from my shopping list to yours!

The Latched Mama Coastline Cotton Nursing Button-Up: As a professional librarian, I feel duty-bound to put a cardigan top-and-center on my dream wishlist.  Whether you’re dressing for the office and want to pump comfortably, or are nursing at home in the chilly months ahead, I think this is a winner for sure.

The Latched Mama Harbor Snap Nursing Pullover: I LOVE heavy weight fabrics; so often, clothing for women is less practical than it could be, which is why I love the cute form and practical function of this cold weather nursing hoodie.  Look cute and be truly warm! Best of all, it comes in cozy forest green, perfect for the next holiday party.

The Latched Mama Petal Maxi Nursing Dress: Speaking of holiday parties, this dress in the wine color is PERFECT.  I’d want to snag this before the big day, honestly, so I could look cute and appropriately merry at the yuletide balls and preschool concerts prior to Christmas.  Toss on a cardigan and it’s a year-round piece!

The Latched Mama Ribbed Wrap Nursing top: This shirt in pink is the perfect blouse to toss on with a cute skirt or corduroys to complete a casual holiday look that can take a lady all the way through the holidays and beyond, since it’s not festooned with holly berries or jingle bells or the like.  Pair with….yes, the librarian suggests a cardigan. 😉

Finally, one more thing, speaking of the holidays.  We all know this time of year isn’t complete without at least one invitation to a silly sweater party.  I recommend using your funds wisely by getting a sweater you’ll wear over and over instead of just to one party.  Invest in the Latched Mama Harbor Snap Nursing Pullover, and if anyone gives you the side-eye for not being unique, point out that this IS a unique sweater!  And if that doesn’t change their minds, pin a merry holiday brooch to it and run a victory lap. You win!

Happy holiday shopping for you and yours, mamas!
