Guns are one of the leading causes of death among children and teenagers. Several studies that were conducted, concluded that most parents believe their children don’t know where they store their guns, however this isn’t the case. It was even reported that half of the kids injured from guns are sent home from the hospital with a disability. Parents can protect their children by using the gun’s safety feature, teaching kids that guns are dangerous and not to be played with, and to also keep guns out of children’s view.
