People love babies, because why wouldn’t they? Friends and family flock to visit new ones, just for the chance to hold or play with them. And sometimes, viruses.
Doncaster mother Claire Henderson’s 3-month old contracted cold sores, presumably by someone infected kissing her baby. At three months, a child hasn’t yet developed the immune system strong enough to fight off the disease, and that means they REALLY shouldn’t get that disease. Ms. Henderson caught the early signs, and got to the hospital in time to stop any more progress of the disease.
Ms. Henderson, that was a good save, well done.
