Big strides are being made to make breastfeeding socially acceptable, though we still have a long way to go. With Facebook allowing breastfeeding photos, more women are boldly showing some boob with #brelfies, but the backlash continues.

No matter what social media channel you choose, any breastfeeding photo is subject to rude online commentary. It’s worth the risk, though. The more we show the world that breastfeeding is natural, beautiful, and necessary, the more people will have to see and accept it!
